During weeks 2 and 3, over the Passover holiday break, we focused on testing the usability of the app interface. We conducted usability tests with three participants, asking them to complete four specific tasks within the app. The goal was to evaluate the interface's functionality and user-friendliness. Based on their feedback and observations, we were able to gather valuable insights and identify areas for improvement in the user interface.
In addition to testing the interface, we also assessed the solution itself—specifically, whether the app truly helps dog owners in real-life situations. To do this, we involved three additional participants and asked them to interact with the app's chatbot feature. This allowed us to evaluate how well the app addresses the needs of dog owners and whether it provides meaningful assistance in understanding their dogs.
These two sets of tests—one focusing on the interface and the other on the solution’s effectiveness—helped us gain a clearer understanding of how to improve the app's design and its overall value for users. The feedback we received was essential for refining both the technical and practical aspects of the app, ensuring that it would provide real, actionable support for dog owners.
